For more than 15 years in Santa Barbara, I offered an ongoing drumming class series for women, called “Djun Djun Mamas”. We were bold, bodacious, bad ass and beautiful… spreading the love and joy of Rhythm, Song & Dance all over SB, Ojai, Ventura, Goleta, SLO, and beyond!
If you ever participated in one of these offerings over the years, please join us for an afternoon of music, food and sisterhood!
This is a potluck. Please bring something to share.
There will be drumming. Bring your drums or other percussion items to play.
There will be dance. Wear comfy, colorful and celebratory clothes!
We will gather in a large hall space in Carpinteria, CA (location will be emailed to those who RSVP—please do so below).
Suggested Donation: $25
Your donation helps with rental fees, facilitation and organization of this beautiful event. Thank you in advance! You may also bring your donation to the event.
