Brand New Digital Dance Class: Movement Practice & Meditation

Join me for a luscious and sublime movement practice and pranam honoring the great goddess Lakshmi! Includes introduction and gentle warm-up for the whole body. Restorative Dance Flow

Move. Breathe. Flow.

In late 2020 I was invited by my dance teacher to offer a rejuvenative “Lisa Dance Medicine” class on her online platform. We were in our first year of the pandemic, and she wanted to offer something grounding and nurturing for our dance family to support and uplift them.

Thus Restorative Dance Flow was born!

Restorative Dance Flow is a gentle, meditative and breath-filled dance class which takes inspiration from many movement traditions and genres (yoga, pilates, ballet, Classical Indian Dance, West African Dance, Contemporary and Lyrical). The intention of this offering is to bring each person deeper into her or his own heart through the body and breath.

We move in fluid and graceful ways… like waves of the ocean and tall grass swaying in the breeze. The mood is playful and reverential. The music is soothing and energizing. You will feel nourished and satiated by your own movement medicine! 

Body + Soul connect Earth + Sky. 

Level: Beginner to Intermediate. All levels will enjoy this offering!

Structure of class

  • Opening meditation & conscious breath practice

  • Gentle seated warm-up for head, neck, shoulders, chest, spine, hips and legs

  • Standing warm up to open the heart, energize the entire body and embody FLOW

  • Pranam (reverential salutation)

  • New combos and choreography sequences to enliven your body, mind, spirit

  • Cool down for centering and gratitude
